Yankees 10, Trojans 0
The Willows Yankees blasted the Orland Trojans 10-0 on April 24 with Joe Amaro striking out seven batters in four innings. Garrett Enos had a triple and two RBI while Jake Pence also had a triple. Amaro added a double and two RBI.

Yankees 16, Steelheads 4
The Yankees dropped the Capay Steelheads 16-4 on April 16 with Eduardo Briones striking out five in two innings and Garrett Enos fanning three.

Briones had a pair of RBI to go with four basehits. Enos added a single and a double while Amaro had two doubles. Chase Lambert blasted a home run and three singles while Nick Reed had two hits. Greg Dicharry added a double. Lambert and Enos each had three RBI.

Yankees 15, Marlins 5
The Yankees topped the Willows Marlins 15-5 on April 3 behind the pitching of Joe Amaro, who struck out nine batters in three innings. Chase Lambert had two triples an a single while Greg Dicharry had three singles and three RBI. Amaro added a double and a single.

Yankees 13, Marlins 0
The Yankees whipped the Marlins 13-0 on March 29 as Garrett Enos struck out seven batters in three innings. Chris Walter and Eduardo Briones each had three hits with Briones driving in three runs. Chase Lambert added two RBI while Enos and Ryan Camozzi each had two hits. Greg Dicharry blasted a double for the Yankees’ best hit.

Junior Baseball
A’s 12, Giants 11
The A’s edged the Orland Giants 12-11 on April 18 thanks to the play of Clint Johns, who had five strikeouts on the mound and also had a double and a single with two RBI. Jeremy Millert added a double to the cause while Dominic Matteucci had two RBI.

For the G iants, Andrew Hutchens was 4-for-4 with two triples and five RBI. Blake Roessel was 3-for-4 and struck out three on the mound. Anthony Mancinelli pitched four innings and struck out four.

Central Indians 7, A’s 5
Thomas Heise had two hits and three RBI in the loss for the A’s. Andres Murillo and Kevin Molleson each added one hit with Murillo striking out five batters in six innings pitched.

Willows Cardinals 8, A’s 1
Clint Johns led the offense with a double and an RBI while Heise, Molleson and Murillo each had one hit in the loss to the Cardinals. Heise struck out three batters and Millert fanned two.

For the Cardinals, Kyle Enos struck out three and Kyle Wycoff fanned eight. Wycoff also had a triple and three RBI while Taylor Collins had a double and two RBI.

Orland Reds 11, A’s 6
Murillo struck out seven and Heise sat down two batters on Ks for the A’s, but it wasn’t enough in a loss to the Reds.

David Scott pitched for the Reds and struck out seven in five innings. He also had two hits on offense while Cody Deitz had a double and two RBI. Quentin Fichter also had two hits for the winners.

Murillo led the A’s with a triple and three RBI while Heise had a two-run single.
