The Willows High boys soccer team was blanked at home Thursday, falling to 9-4 on the season and 2-2 in the Sacramento Valley League-One.
The Live Oak goal came in the first half from the top of the penalty box, and the Honkers' Fernando Cervantes had several shots that hit the crossbar and went wide left, according to Willows coach Jose Cano.
Josue Valenzuela saved seven shots.
Willows played in Durham on Tuesday, and hosts Pierce on Thursday.

Willows coach Bud Ramirez reported that the Lady Honkers took twice as many shots as Live Oak on Thursday, but could not put the ball in the net as Willows fell to 4-6-2 and 2-2 in the Sacramento Valley League.
Ramirez pointed to Jessica Galvano as his Player of the Game, for doing an outstanding job at stopper of keeping the Live Oak offense from attacking.
Willows played in Durham on Tuesday, and hosts Pierce on Thursday.
