The Honkers survived two close sets to open their match against Wheatland High and earned a sweep on the road Tuesday.
After winning the first two sets 26-24 and 25-23, Willows put the Pirates away in dominating fashion in the third by a score of 25-8.
Mary Feeney slammed home 11 kills to lead the Honkers. Ally Brunner, Colleen Tade and Sam Brott contributed five kills each.
Erika Click led Willows with four blocks while Brunner and Tade blocked two shots each. Tade distributed the ball on 24 of the team's 26 assists.
Feeney had eight of the Honkers' 14 digs and Natalie Massa got to four of her own.

Willows Recreation crowns womens champs
The Willows Recreation Department announced the winners of its recently completed womens horseshoe league.
Taking first was the team of Edwina Leonardo and Cathy Ehorn; second went to Amy Baker and Heather Mendes; and Danielle Boelman and Shelley Crocker finished third.
