Princeton stops Big Valley with second straight 50+ scoring effort

Princeton used a pair of 100+ totals from its backs to post its second straight point total of 50 or greater Friday, sending the visiting Cardinals of Big Valley packing with a 50-26 win.

Guillermo Rodriguez and Oscar Gutierrez shouldered the rushing load, as Rodriguez chalked up 189 yards on 18 carries and scored five TD's, while Gutierrez gained 106 yards in 11 attempts, including a touchdown.

Justin Zoller account for the Eagles' other score with a TD reception.

Cody Hansen completed five of six passing attempts for 44 yards, and he spread the ball around evenly, with Gutierrez, Rodriguez, Anthony Sorrels, and Fernand Correa all having receptions.

Sorrels, Cody Hansen and Nick hansen shared the team lead with 11 tackles each.

Princeton puts its 2-0 record on the line against 2-0 Greenville on the road.
