Baccalaureate service set for Orland High

The baccalaureate service for the Orland High School Class of 2008 is set for Sunday, June 1, at 7 p.m. in the quad of the campus.

Guest speaker will be Dan Henry, a 1978 OHS graduate, who is now a real estate agent and developer in Butte County.

Since 2003, Henry also has served as the head football coach at Champion Christian School. His teams have won two CIF Division VI football championships.

During the service, gifts will be presented to the graduates to be, and a dessert reception will follow the service.

If there is bad weather, the service will be relocated to the Orland High mulitipurpose room. It is sponsored by the Orland Ministerial Association, and the community is invited to attend.
