Glenn County official arrested

The deputy director of Glenn County’s personnel department is facing criminal charges in connection with an alleged incident of domestic violence.

Sean Munns, the deputy director of the Glenn County Human Resource Agency, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of obstructing two sheriff’s deputies and making threats against them.

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic violence call at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Travis Goodwin. The caller told a dispatcher that she suffered cuts when her ex-husband broke a sliding glass door. The woman’s name was not available Friday afternoon.

Goodwin said deputies arrived on scene and reported finding Munns intoxicated and combative. After a very short struggle, deputies subdued Munns, upon which he threatened to kill them, Goodwin said.

Munns, 35, was booked into Glenn County Jail with bail set at $27,000. After spending the night in jail, Munns was released Thursday morning. Goodwin said the investigation is continuing.

Three marriages eh? Very sad about having kids. Way too many kids/families being exploited by the foster and judicial system. I do feel very sorry for them becasue they are the most vulnerable. It is a huge industry that flourishes off of misfortune. Big bucks for big GOV.

Another ruined family? This would be the third ruined family coming from this man, who has been married 3 times. The sad thing is that children are involved, and his actions are unfair to them. They have to suffer too, while this guy just goes back to doing his same old thing.

Amazing how I know so many people in Willows who get arrested. It's unfortunate that many people here have to end up acting this way and let the bottle rule them.

And here we go again. Another ruined man, ruined family, ruined career. The county will receive funding for domestic problems. They profitter off of people's misfortune's, while the county government swells with more than pride. Mmybe the judge can buy another expensive toy for his courtroom.
