Church hosts more than 600 nativities this weekend

More than 600 nativity scenes of various sizes and textures are on display through Sunday in the annual Creche Exhibit sponsored by the Yuba City Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Admission is free.

The four-day exhibit began Thursday and continues from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Saturday and 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at 1470 Butte House Road in Yuba City.

In addition, the Yuba Sutter Youth Symphony will perform today and the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Choir on Saturday. Both performances are at 7 p.m.

The St. Andrew Presbyterian Bell Choir performed Thursday.

The exhibit is the church's gift to the community during the holiday season.
