4-H Livestock Judging Field Day results

About 260 Glenn County 4-H members participated in the Glenn County 4-H Livestock Judging Field Day on Nov. 17.

The Clover 4-H Club, under the leadership of Co-Key Leaders Cheryl Massa, Neisha Furtado and Gina Taylor, organized the field day at the Glenn County Fairgrounds. Also assisting at this event were the Glenn County 4-H All Stars Natalie Massa and Kassidi Buttermore, and BLAST Team Member, Frida Valle.

All primary members in kindergarten through third grade received participation ribbons. They were: Aaron Boone of the Capay 4-H Club; Wesley Otterson, Shelby Nissen, Farrah Bassetti and Chelsea Weinrich of the Clover 4-H Club; Claire Boles, Levi Hansen, Emma Cobb, Tyler Andres, Kyle Lowe, Christopher Watson, Kenzie Eddy, Jodi Rodrigo, Jonathan Garcia, Allison Thomas, Emma Thomas, Lauren Watson, Rachel Kurth, Will Ward, Daniel Garcia, Aubree Eddy and Alison Pinedo of the Lake 4-H Club; Jesse Hicks, Lily Flournoy and Madilyn O'Rear of the Orland 4-H Club; Mallory Foster, Haley Fumasi, Caden Titus and Lauren Lazzaretto of the Plaza 4-H Club; Mary Parkerson, Brayden Sims and Hannah Cloyd of the Schaffert 4-H Club; Braiden Borland and Lilly Borland of the Stoney Creek 4-H Club; and Rosa Navarro, Secundo Martinez, Allison Dalrymple, Jakob Munguia and Ryan Chapman of the Willows 4-H Club. Top individual trophy winners in the various age divisions were: Junior Division, 4th and 5th grades: Kate Grimsman of the Lake 4-H Club; Intermediate Division, 6th-8th grades: Garrett Otterson of the Clover 4-H Club; and Senior Division, 9th - 12th grades: Tommi Hammons of the Lake 4-H Club.

The top team winners were: Junior Division, Lake 4- H Club consisting of Kate Grimsman, Tag Hammons and Carson Karle; Intermediate Division, Clover 4-H Club consisting of Garrett Otterson, Shelby Weinrich and Maci Amaro; and Senior Division, Capay 4-H Club consisting of Lane Gruenwald, Robert B. Thomson and Amanda Poldervaart.
