Northern Heat performs at Fair
The Northern Heat Band has been performing as a group for nine years, playing Classic Rock, Oldies and Country Music. Based in Northern California, the group entertains audiences at various Indian Casinos, County Fairs, and they play regularly at Konocti Harbor in Kelseyville. Northern Heat also opened for a Neil McCoy concert and entertained at an after party with UB40.
Band members include Don Powell who plays rhythm guitar, lead vocals, harmony vocals, lead guitar and keyboards. Don has been with the band for nine years, was with the Ridge Brothers for 36 years, and hails from Chicago .
From Paradise , Jason Powell joined the band nine years ago and previously played with the Ridge Brothers for 8 years. Jason’s talents include lead vocals, harmony vocals, drums and bass guitar.
Dave LaCombe came to the group from Jennings , Louisiana and has also been a band member for nine years after playing for 2 years with County Line . Dave plays bass guitar and rhythm guitar and does lead vocals and harmony vocals.
Ron Ramsey joined Northern Heat three years ago after a 14-year stint with Foothill Express. Ron’s specialties include lead guitar, rhythm guitar, drums and bass guitar as well as lead vocals and harmony vocals. Ron makes his home in Willows.
Jim Barry is from Oroville and has been with Northern Heat for one year after playing with Foothill Express for five years and 90 Proof for 12 years. He specializes in drums and harmony vocals.
