Wedding: Fisher-Furtado

A small but beautiful wedding, joining Ashley Linn Furtado and Christopher Wayne Fisher, took place at the Willows Assembly of God Church on November 17, 2007, officiated by pastor Huffman.

Ashley chose as her theme, “A satin camo attire for all the attendants, as well as a camo wedding cake with the topping of

the groom dressed in camo attire and holding his bride in white. Ashley’s dress was of white satin with a camo cummerbund with streamers of satin camo as her train, which trailed down the back of her gown. She also chose a satin camo gown identical to the matron of honor for after the wedding.

Ashley chose as her matron of honor, her friend, Kamra Atterbury, of Willows. Chris had his brother Travis Fisher, from Arizona,

as his Best Man and his little son Lowgan Fisher as the ring bearer. Ashley’s brother, Steven Furtado was the usher and took care of the music.

There was a reception following in the church reception hall. Ashley is the daughter of Dan and Denise Furtado. of Willows.

Her Grandmothers are Joan Green and Kathy Furtado, of Willows, and her grandfather is Troy McDonald, also of Willows. Her uncle is her dad’s twin brother Don Furtado, of Chico.

Christopher is the son of Linda Meany, of Arizona, and Roy Fisher, of Willows. Chris has one brother and three sisters all from Arizona. His little sister Mikayla was there, but the other two sisters, Kim Fisher and Sarah Bem, was unable to attend.

His Grandparents are Marjorie and Darrell Wilson, of Willows. His uncle, Jim Fisher and family, of Clarks Valley, we also in attendance. Out of town guests included Matt and Teresa Oliver, of Sonora, Ed and Alyssa Lacroix and baby son Tyler, of Folsom, and Steven Cushman, of Artois.

The young couple took a small trip and then plan to make their home in Willows.
