Engagement: Van Tol-Stevenson

Richelle van Tol and Scott Stevenson, both of Willows, plan to wed July 18, 2009, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Chico.

The bride is the daughter of Ted van Tol and Berdine Chappell, both of Willows. She will graduate from California State University, Chico this month with a degree in child development with honors. She works for Wunsch Chiropractic Clinic in Willows.

The groom is the son of Michael and Barbara Stevenson, both of Willows. He graduated from Butte College Fire Academy and works for the Yuba City Fire Department.
