Warren Lowe
Warren Walter Lowe, formerly of Willows, passed away May 2, 2008, in Chico, at the age of 78.
Walt was born on Nov. 28, 1929. He married Dorothy, the love of his life, on Nov. 15, 1947. Dorothy passed away October 5, 2003. The couple had been married for 56 years.
Walt is survived by three children: Greg, Steve and Alan; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy; and four children: Warren, Baby Lowe, Paul and Brad.
Walt loved being a jokester, telling stories, fishing and hunting. He was a 49er football fan. He also loved singing, dancing, shuffleboard, watching western movies, taking drives and eating hamburgers. He loved the nurses that took care of him and they loved him. But most of all he lived his grandchildren and could not quit talking about them.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, at the Willows Cemetery. Arrangements are under F.D. Sweet & Son, Willows.
