Deputy Brazzi made a traffic stop on a vehicle for vehicle code violations.  The driver was identified by his California ID card as Casey Gingerich.  Gingerich stated he had a suspended driver`s license.  Glenn County dispatch confirmed that Gingerich did have a suspended driver’s license.  Deputy Brazzi arrested Gingerich for driving on a suspended driver`s license.  Gingerich was booked into the Glenn County jail.

Rp and victim, Ray Montero, reports a  burglary to his rented storage shop.  No signs of forced entry. Numerous power tools, equipment, and lasers taken. Occurred between June 26 and June 30.  Dep. Bauer detailed. Sheriff Jones on scene. Victim will attempt to provide deputy Bauer with full descriptions, model numbers, and photos of some of the stolen property.

While on patrol, deputy Burns observed a vehicle with non-functioning lighting equipment. Deputy Burns conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle at highway 162 and state route 45. The driver, Susanna Robles, 28, was found to be driving on a suspended driver`s license from a prior DUI arrest. Robles was cited and released for driving on the suspended license, lighting equipment violation and for having no proof of insurance. Robles called her mother to come pick her and the vehicle up.

Twelve “spent” explosive devices found. Deputy Bailey met with Hamilton City fire and assisted in collecting evidence of explosive devices. Explosives were set off at approximately 2200 hours the night before. Detective Knight arrived and took evidence.  Checked door to door no one saw any one or anything.  They just heard a loud bang that sounded like a shortgun blast see file

Glenn County mental health requested a welfare check on one of the clients at his residence in Orland. Deputy Burns and deputy Bailey responded. The subject was not located at his residence. Contact was made with his brother. Who stated he saw his brother approximately 15 minutes ago and he was fine. The subject’s brother stated  his brother had gone to the bus stop and was on his way to his mental health appointment. No further action requested.

Chp cell transfer / verbal argument between Hector Chavera and his brother Carlos Chavera. Deputy Bailey made contact with Carlos Chavera he said  it is over a civil matter with Hector Chavera leaving trash in Carlos` yard. Contact made with Hector and he was warned about ongoing problems with family memebers. Verbal only settled by separation.

Verbal domestic violence between male and female. Reporting party is concerned about the welfare of their children. Deputy Bailey made contact with the Sanchez  at 219 Sacramento. They are currently separated and Mr. Sanchez is no longer staying at the residence. Mr. Sanchez was at the residence waiting for his son. A verbal argument ensued and the neighbors called. Verbal only settled by separation.

AB Fortress Alarm Company requested a welfare check on Shirley Parcell, 81, as her life alarm had been set off. Deputy Burns responded to the residence west of Orland. Contact was made with Parcell and she was fine. Parcell was not in need of assistance and was not aware the alarm had been set off. The alarm was reset; no further action requested.

Dale German reported the theft of a three-gallon air compressor. German requested a deputy take a report over the phone. Deputy Owens contacted German, who stated the compressor was taken from his open garage between June 24 and June 29. German estimated the air compressor at $139.00.

A female juvenile called 911 and reported she and her mother had been in a fight. Sgt. Miranda and deputy Owens responded. It was found to be a verbal argument only between the two. Both parties were counselled. Settled by mediation.

Rp, Scott Arbuckle, is requesting a welfare check on a subject that is screaming to himself and upsetting residents of the mobile home park. Charles Knowles was contacted. Knowles did not meet 5150 Wandi criteria. A message was left with Knowles mental health worker about the problems knowles has been having.

Rp, Sheriff Larry Jones, reported  an anon. Citizen reported to him  3-4 males (possible juveniles) are setting off illegal fire works and smoke bombs. Deputy Bauer made an area check and was unable to locate anyone setting off fireworks.

911 Call. Gary Belcher requested medical for his niece who is bleeding badly after being assaulted by her live in boyfriend. Sgt. Miranda and deputy Owens responded. Medical checked victim. Victim declined treatment. After interviewing parties deputy owens arrested, William Macek, 40, for domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.
