FFA serves up barbecue
Orders for the Willows FFA annual tri-tip barbecue are due Monday.
Lunch includes a tri-tip sandwich and chips for $7.
Lunch pick-ups will be available from 11:30 a.m. — 12:45 p.m. Oct. 19 on Lassen Street, behind the Ag Department building.

Chamber candidates night set
The Willows Chamber of Commerce will host a candidates night beginning at 7 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Elk's Lodge, 150 S. Shasta St., Willows.
The seven candidates for City Council, two candidates for Butte-Glenn Community College District and pros and cons for Measures P and Q will be addressed.
Questions will be taken from the floor in writing. Forms will be provided.
Alumni invited to homecoming
The Willows High School Band Alumni are invited to perform at half-time with the Willows High School Band during the homecoming game on Oct. 19.
All alumni are welcome to join.

4-H Bowl-a-thon Oct. 27
Two sessions of the Glenn County 4-H Bowl-a-thon will be held Oct. 27 at Orland Bowl, 507 Monterey St., Orland. The first session will begin at 10 a.m. and the second at 12:30 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to participate.
Door prizes will be given out throughout the day, as well as prizes for the team with the best name and the team with the best costumes during each session.

Director seat up for election
One directors seat is up for election of a three year term within the Colusa Glenn Subwatershed Program.
This position will represent growers in Colusa and Glenn Counties.
Election and voting rights are open to the active membership list as of Oct. 1, 2012.
