Sign up for Christmas boxes
The Orland Pantry will be distributing Christmas Food Boxes on Dec. 21 to needy residents of northern Glenn County. Families must sign up for the boxes and show proof they are residents of either Orland, Hamilton City, Capay or Artois.
All applicants must provide documentation of their identity as well as a utility bill or other documentation that confirms both their name and address.
Sign-ups in Orland will be available Nov. 27-30, and Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. — noon at the First Lutheran Church, 19 Colusa St.
Schools, churches, youth groups and service clubs are asked to help by donating canned and non-perishable food items. Please bring donations to St. Dominic's Parish Hall from 9 a.m. — 4 p.m. Dec. 18, 822 A St., Orland.
Pick up of the food boxes will be from 9 a.m. — 5 p.m. Dec. 21 at St. Dominic's Parish Hall, Orland.
Christmas Faire on Dec. 1
The annual Christmas Craft Faire, sponsored by the Willows Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 9 a.m. — 4 p.m. Dec. 1 at St. Monica's Parish Hall, 1129 W. Wood St., Willows.
More than 50 vendors will participate.
Lunch will be available from the Young Ladies Institute.

Lions Club art show soon
The Lions Club will host their annual art show and raffle from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 16, 6244 County Road 53, Willows.
Raffle tickets are $1 each, six for $5, 15 for $10, or $35 for $20.
Door prizes and a free buffet will also be available.
