Relay for Life kickoff today
New and old team captains are invited to attend the Relay for Life kickoff at 5:30 p.m. today at Round Table Pizza, 1237 W. Wood St., Willows.
20% of all sales of the evening will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Information will be available regarding the June 1-2 Relay for Life event.

Hunter's breakfast Saturday
Jacinto Grange will host a hunter's breakfast from 6:30-10 a.m. Saturday, 7254 County Road 39, Glenn.
Homemade biscuits and sausage gravy, eggs any style, orange juice and coffee will be available for $7.
Pheasant festival Saturday
St. Monica's annual pheasant festival and ham dinner will be held from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, 1129 W. Wood St., Willows.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $3 for children 6-10. Children under 6 are free.
The Knights of Columbus will operate a wheel game, giving away free live pheasants.
Children's games, baked goods and collectibles will also be available.
Methodist bazaar slated
The annual Hot Turkey Luncheon and Bazaar will be held from 11 a.m. — 1 p.m. Nov. 16 at the United Methodist Church, 544 S. Shasta St., Willows.
Lunch includes a hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, cranberry salad, dessert and beverage for $10.
The bazaar will take place from 10 a.m. — 2 p.m. and includes baked goods, homemade items, embroidered tea towels, and a country store. ï¿½
