Princeton group raising funds
The Princeton Community Eagles ninth annual raffle is underway.
Items will be raffled off at the annual Princeton Fire Department Dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, at the Princeton Portuguese Hall.
Tickets are $10 and available by calling Greg or Linda Hansen at 439-2475. Buyers do not need to be at the dinner to win.
The Princeton Community Eagle organization supports the education and athletic programs for all students in the Princeton Joint Unified School District.

Glenn Chorale practices begin
The Glenn Chorale will begin rehearsals for he spring concert season beginning at 7 p.m., Monday, at the Orland High School band room, 101 Shasta St., Orland.
A $10 music usage fee will apply.
The chorale will rehearse every Monday evening until the performances May 4-5.

Gun show starts today
The 25th annual US Gun Traders gun show opens its two-day run today, 8 a.m. — 5 p.m., in the Main Exhibit Building at the Colusa County Fairgrounds.
The event continues from 8 a.m. — 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Artist's reception Friday
A reception will be held from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Friday for Willows artist Vic Kronberg, who is well known in the region for his watercolors.
The reception will be held at the Arts Council office, 430 Market St., Suite C., Colusa.
Watercolors featuring wildlife, old barns, landscapes and more will be on display.
Friday is photo reception
Photographers Sharon Barker of Willows and Sue Graue of Colusa will have their work on display for the 2013 Snow Goose Festival Art Exhibit, running Friday through Feb. 2 at Avenue 9 Gallery & Art Guild, 180 E. Ninth Ave., Chico.
An artist's reception will be held from 5-8 p.m. Jan. 25.
Grange hosts card party
The Jacinto Grange will host a card party beginning at 2 p.m. Jan. 27, 7254 County Road 39, Glenn.
Whist and pinochle will be available, as will door prizes, a raffle and snacks.
$5 donation requested.
Veterans hold flea market
Glenn County veterans will hold a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 9 at Willows Memorial Hall, 525 W. Sycamore St., Willows.
Table space is available for $12, which includes a large table.
