Pork loin dinner tonight
The Boy and Girl Scouts will hold their annual pork loin dinner from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. tonight at the Willows Elk's Lodge, 150 S. Shasta St.
Meal includes barrel-cooked pork loin, rice, applesauce, salad and bread for $10 for adults, or $5 for children under 12.
Take-out is available.
Hot dog fundraiser Thursday
A Senior Nutrition Program hot dog fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. — 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Sani Food Market, 517 S. Tehama St., Willows.
Sponsored by Sani Food, the $2.50 price includes a hot dog, chips and drink. Proceeds go to the Willows Nutrition Home Meal Delivery program.
Adopt a Glenn County family
The 22nd annual Glenn County Adopt-a-family/Elder Program is seeking sponsors for the 2012 holiday season.

The event will be held Dec. 14.
Halloween candy needed
Wrapped Halloween candy is needed for the annual trick or treat event on Oct. 31 at Willows Care Center, 320 N. Crawford Ave., Willows.
Please drop your candy off at the receptionist's desk.

Card party this Sunday
The local chapter of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, Berryessa Parlor No.192, will host a card party at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Jacinto Grange, 7254 County Road 39, Bayliss.
Whist and Pinochle will be available for $5, which includes prizes and refreshments.
Harvest Bazaar slated Nov. 3
The annual Harvest Bazaar will be held from 10 a.m. — 4 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Elk Creek Grange Hall, 411 Church St., Elk Creek.
Arts, crafts, quilts, crocheted items, books, baked goods and more will be available.
Lunch will be available to purchase from the Grange.
