Orland Fourth of July celebration

Old-fashioned Fourth of July activities will be held at Vinsonhaler Park. Food service organizations will be available at noon and continue all afternoon. The Orland Town Band will perform at various intervals as the patriotic program begins at 1 p.m. The Orland mayor will make a patriotic address and the citizen of the year will be named. Children’s games, egg toss, sack races, foot races for all ages and the frog jumping contest will be going on throughout the afternoon. For more information, call 865-2731 or 865-3836.
