1046 hrs Officer JOHNSON made a traffic
stop on a red Pontiac on E Tehama at Woodward. After an on scene investigation
the driver, 34 y/o Orland resident, Alma ROSALES, was arrested for driving
while unlicensed. ROSALES was released on a citation.
1148 hrs Officer JOHNSON was dispatched to
Orland High School for a report from Glenn County HRA of a student with a
confirmed felony warrant from Los Angeles County. The officer contacted the 17
student and determined that he was not the individual with the warrant.
1347 hrs Officer JOHNSON was dispatched to
the area of Moe's Market for a report of a possible DUI driver in a silver
Toyota. The officer located the Toyota S/B on Sixth at Mill and initiated an
investigative stop on the vehicle. After an on scene investigation, it was
determined that 48 y/o Kelli PAILLON was not DUI.
1402 hrs Officer JOHNSON was dispatched to
131 Central St to assist Code Enforcement Officer Jim DIDIO while he placed a
garbage abatement notice at the residence. The officer stood by until no longer
needed.
1420 hrs Officer Landis was contacted by
46 y/o Ginger Bippus of Arbuckle regarding child custody issues. Officer Landis
contacted 47 y/o Joyce Bippus at 1237 Marin Street, who advised the juvenile
would be returned that night.
1646 hrs OPD Officers were dispatched to
215 E Mill St for a report of a domestic violence in progress. The officers
arrived and met with 49 y/o Gloria MORA who stated that she was assaulted by
her husband, 59 y/o William MORA who left prior to officer arrival. An
investigation was initiated.
2210 hrs Officer Stover and Sgt. Baker were dispatched to Longs Drugs 869 Newville Road, regarding a male subject requesting an ambulance with no further information. Officers arrived and contacted James Clifford 53 of Maryland. Officers stood by with Clifford until no longer needed.
2030 hrs Sgt Baker was sent to 431 East Street for an anonymous complaint of dogs barking. Officer contacted 44 y/o Dara Reynolds of Orland who agreed keep her dogs quiet.
