Nicolas Teodoro Mondragon, Jr.
Memorial services will be held at 1
p.m. on Saturday in the Orland High School gymnasium for Nicolas T. Mondragon
Jr., who passed away May 5, 2008, at his home in Orland, with his family at his
side.
Nick was born on Jan. 18, 1960 in
Los Angeles. He attended Santiago High School. After graduation, he attended
Santa Ana College to study mechanics.
Nick moved to Orland in March of 1989. In 1999, he attended Butte College Police Academy and worked in law enforcement until 2007. He enjoyed coaching little league and softball and serving his community.
Nick is survived by his mother Carmene Martin; his father Nicolas T. Mondragon, Sr.; three brothers: John, Phil and Chris; and two sisters: Diane and Julie. He is also survived by his wife, Sheri; daughter Sarah; and son Jesse.
Nick also had an extended family consisting of parents Manuel and Blanca and siblings John, Novalee, Ramon, Marisa and Victor.
