Letter: Playing in the 'Mudd' is great

We would like to thank everyone who made our Mudd Ranch field trip possible. It was an exciting and rewarding learning experience.

We would especially like to thank the Mudd family for hosting the event, Justin Ely for his very generous donation, which helped cover the transportation cost, and the Willows Journal for the great article and photos in (the Oct. 27) edition.

We would also like to thank our presenters: Dick Mudd, Jared and Vanessa Mudd, Craig and Jen Isola, Justine Smith, Ellen Pastorino, Ginger Holzapfel, and Bob and Georgia Griffith, and our snack donors: Lundberg Family Farms, Larry and Ellen Pastorino, and Reita Mudd.

We wish to thank our parents, families, friends, and community members who supported our math-a-thon fundraiser, and to the community members who donated in honor and memory of Dr. Art Neves and E. E. Wilson.
