William Lynes, 18,  called the sheriff`s office to report threats he received. Deputy Knouse detailed and met with lynes at the Orland police dept. Lynes said Justin Gilbert threatened him on the phone and left a threatening voice mail. The message stated he would be at lynes` residence waiting for him to return. Deputy Knouse followed Lynes to his residence and did not locate gilbert in the area. Lynes requested to press charges for 422 pc. Case open.

Leanne Ewald, 24,  called the sheriff`s office to report a subject waved a gun at her a few weeks ago. Ewald requested a deputy contact her by telephone. Deputy Knouse detailed. Ewald said on March 15, while employed at the Atwood Ranch, a ranch worker, Rafael Estrada, 33, was intoxicated and entered her residence without permission. Estrada pulled a gun out, waved the gun around and threatened to kill Ewald`s male friend. Ewald convinced estrada to leave her residence. See narrative.

A citizen of Hamilton City reported a fight in front of a residence. Deputy Burns responded to the area and located a vehicle driving away the suspects were believed to be in. Contact was made with Marisol Salcido, 19,  and Griselda Puente, 20. The victim, Brenda Torres, 27, requested to place Salcido under citizen’s arrest. Salcido was cited and released for challenging the victim to fight. All subjects were advised to stay away from each other due to the ongoing problems between them.

While on patrol in Hamilton City, deputy Burns observed a male subject standing in the middle of the roadway in front of the old Holly Sugar Mill. Deputy Burns contacted the subject who was stumbling around near a parked bicycle. The subject was identified as Jose Murillo, 40. Murillo had a strong odor of alcohol eminating from his person. Murillo had trouble standing on his own. Murillo was determined to be too intoxicated to care for his own safety and arrested for public intoxication.

Colusa County sheriff`s office requested an assist in locating a subject on foot after a vehicle pursuit that had ended just north of Stonyford. Deputies Brazzi and Smith responded to assist. Deputies were unable to locate the suspect in the area. Colusa County deputies had identified the driver prior to the pursuit. Nfa by this department.
