    Police logs listings are compiled from reports filed with area law enforcement and public safety agencies...

    0730 hrs Officer Landis was dispatched to 1226 Walters St. for a report of vandalism. Thirty seven y/o Kimberly Miller of Orland reported that her mailbox was vandalized between the hours of 0030-0630 this date. Officer Landis documented the incident.

    0805 hrs Officer Landis was dispatched to 204 Fourth Street regarding graffiti to a garage. Sixty y/o Terri Weathers of Orland said she noticed grafitti on her garage in the alley. Officer Landis documented the incident.

    1030 hrs 56 y/o Carol Hammond of Orland came into Orland PD to report a mail scam. She was ‘selected' to participate in a paid Consumer Research Program. After going to her bank they advised that the check was fraudulent. Information was taken for documentation.

    1100 hrs Officer Landis was contacted at the OPD offices by a 43 y/o Willows woman who reported she had been sexually assaulted on 04/26/08. Officer Landis initiated an investigation.

    1500 hrs 42 y/o Orland resident Deborah Sanders came into the PD to report forgery to bank documents. The information was taken and an investigation was initiated.

    1620 hrs 28 y/o old Orland resident Charlene Palmer came into the Police Dept to report that an unknown person in Madera, California was using her 7 y/o daughters Social Security number for Identification. An investigation was initiated and information will be forwarded to the Social Security Administration.

    2251 hrs, Sgt. Baker received a call from dispatch who stated that off duty Chico PD Officer 29 y/o David Bailey of Orland called and requested a phone call from the on-duty sergeant. Sgt. Baker called and spoke to Bailey via telephone who stated that an unknown person(s) have been throwing tomatoes at his Woodward Ave. residence from the Shasta Garden Apartment complex. Sgt. Baker and Officer Stover responded and conducted foot patrol in the area. Officers were unable to locate the person(s) throwing the tomatoes.

    2118 hrs Justin Gibbs 35 of Orland reported three suspicious subjects in the 200 Block of East Colusa Street. Officer Stover checked the area and did not locate the subjects. NFA OPD
