Occupation: Barista at Starbucks in Willows, and assistant manager, Chico Mall.

Hobbies and interests: Gardening; lately I have been crocheting a lot; and baking and learning new recipes.

What are your favorite things about winter? I enjoy all of the festivities during the season. I am the kind of person who listens to holiday music way too early! I love getting to spend time with family that aren't in the area all year 'round.

What are some of your fondest memories? For as long as I can remember, I have loved watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I would always wake up early for these.

Whom do you most admire and why? My grandmother, or Nana, as I call her, has always had a huge impact on my life. She was an Army nurse and is now very involved in the veteran community. She is someone I am proud to know. I want to make a difference in someone's life as she has in mine.

What's something about yourself that your friends might not know? Some newer friends in my life may be surprised to know that I am a big kid at heart.

What is your dream job? Working in the disabled community full-time. While I don't know what that may be yet, I do know that I want to make a difference to someone.

What was the last thing that made you laugh? My dogs. They were playing around with a ball and one was hopping like a bunny, trying to catch the ball as it rolled.

What are you thankful for? I am so thankful for the support system that my husband, family, and friends are to me.

What is your greatest accomplishment? Every summer since I was 16, I have volunteered at a summer camp for people with developmental disabilities. Recently I had the honor of being a leader in the camp. I was able to help mentor young people that were new to the camp as I once was. Hopefully, I made a small impact on them and the people that camp serves.
