    Police logs listings are compiled from reports filed with area law enforcement and public safety agencies...

    0955 hrs Officer Landis was dispatched to the area of 6th and South Streets for a reported commercial burglary. Officer Landis contacted 35 y/o Tyler Bucke of Orland. Bucke said there was a small section on the east facing wall of Bucke's Feed and Grain on Railroad Ave. that was made of wood. The wood section had been pried open some time after 05/04/08. Bucke checked the business and said that nothing had been taken. Officer Landis documented the incident.

    1400 hrs Officer Landis was contacted at OPD by two female juveniles ages 14 and 15 who reported that they were being harassed by a Hispanic male in the 1000 block of 7Th Street. Officer Landis checked the area and contacted 23 y/o Filemon Alvarado Soto of Orland. Soto was advised to stay away from juveniles.

    1629 hrs Sgt Tolle, Officer Landis and Chief Pasero responded to 137 E Yolo Street for a vehicle versus bicycle traffic accident. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the vehicle driver, 19 y/o Gerald Kipper and the bicyclist, 15 y/o Brianna Triano both of Orland. Triano suffered from head injuries, and was transported by ambulance to Enloe Hospital. Officer Landis initiated an investigation.

    1700 hrs Sgt. Baker was dispatched to Orland Stop and Shop at 10 Walker St for a 911 hang-up. The area was checked but nobody was found near the phone and everything was normal at the store.

    1720 hrs, Sgt. Baker was dispatched to the alley behind 704 Date Street for a person, reportedly, with a baseball bat breaking glass. Sgt. Baker arrived and checked the area but was unable to locate the person. A broken 40 ounce glass beer bottle was located.

    1835 hrs Sgt. Baker was sent to 1226 East St #4 regarding harassing phone calls. Twenty two y/o Tara Miller of Orland alleges that 24 y/o Brooke Bauska of Red Bluff has been leaving annoying telephone calls on Tara's cell phone. A report was taken.

    1910 hrs Sgt. Baker met with 37 y/o Tina Gould of Orland at 1090 Eighth Street regarding vandalism to her door and wall. Tina Gould reported that her estranged husband, 36 y/o John Gould of Orland committed this act last night and she just noticed the damage. At Ms. Gould's request the incident was documented.

    1940 hrs Sgt. Baker saw a grey Chevrolet pickup traveling N/B on Sixth Street at an unsafe speed. The driver, 18 y/o Justin Allen of Orland was stopped and cited and released for traveling at an unsafe speed.

    1955 hrs Officer JOHNSON made a traffic stop on a silver Volkswagon in the parking lot at Black Butte Mobile Home Park on Road 200 for an equipment violation. After an on scene investigation, a passenger, 21 y/o Juan LEON of Corning was arrested for violation of his probation. He was booked into the Glenn County Jail.

    2245 hrs Sgt. Baker was sent to the Orland Inn, 1052 South St. for an irrational person. Officer arrived and met with general manager, 55 y/o Ron Braga of Orland and 58 y/o Rachel Mandel of San Marcos. Mandel wanted to pay ten dollars less then what the actual room rate. Mandel left deciding to stay else where.
