Police logs listings are compiled from reports filed with area law enforcement and public safety agencies...

0058 hrs Officer Lopeteguy contacted with two juveniles in Library Park. The juveniles; a 15 y/o and a 17 y/o both of Orland were arrested for violation of curfew and being in a closed park after hours. Both juveniles were taken to the Orland police department where they were released on citations to parents.

0132 hrs Officers Lopeteguy and Cessna were dispatched to Cherry Circle for a subject who was running westbound through the cul-de-sac. On arrival the officers checked the area but no one was located. Several residents were spoken to however no suspect was located.

1742 hrs Sgt. Baker stopped a white Chevrolet Blazer on 6th and Monterey Streets for expired registration. The driver, 39 y/o Anthony Enos of Orland was cited and released for not having his child in a car seat, no proof of vehicle insurance, and expired registration.

2335 hrs Officers Lopeteguy and Cessna were dispatched to 1462 Holly Dr. for a report of a domestic disturbance. On arrival the officers learned that Soukkhy Thitphaneth 29 of Orland caused a verbal altercation with his parents and then assaulted his mother and vandalized some property. Officers contacted Soukkhy and found that he was extremely intoxicated. Soukkhy was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Glenn County Jail where he was turned over to jail staff for booking.

2130 hrs Officer Lopeteguy and Cessna were dispatched to 68 E. Walker Street for a report of loud music. On arrival Officers met with a group of subjects who were listening to music and they agreed to turn the music down.

0810 hrs Officer Landis and Sgt. Tolle were dispatched to 26 E Chapman for a burglary alarm. Officers contacted resident, 23 y/o Joseph Farron of Orland, who reported that the kitchen door had not been secured properly.

1035 hrs Officer Landis was contacted at OPD by 37 y/o Wendy Bartlettolary of Orland. Bartlettolary said she had found a steak knife in her yard. Officer Landis documented the incident.
