Butte Home Health requesting deputy for coroner’s report. The decedent, Sylvan Brummet, was a hospice patient, family was on scene.  Deputy Brazzi conducted the coroner`s investigation.  The decedent had a DNR on file.  Sweets Mortuary was contacted and removed the decedent from the residence. 

Deputy Brazzi contacted Kyle Mings walking in Willows.  Mings was found to be on Glenn County probation, searchable and testable.  Mings showed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance.  Deputy Brazzi conducted an evaluation on Mings and subsequently arrested him for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and violation of probation.  Mings was booked into the Glenn County jail.

Rp is requesting a deputy call her about information on how to legally remove her ex boyfriend’s belongings from her property. Deputy Bailey made contact. Information given about civil proceedings if her ex does not move the property.

911 Call  subject attempted to hit the reporting party but missed. Rp believes the subject is in possession of two switch blade knives. Deputy Bailey made contact with Drew Studybin. She said Hector Chavera was trying to start a fight with everyone at the house. She said  Chavera swung at her but she did not want to press charges she just wanted Chavera told it is not right. Chavera counseled. Information given about restraining orders.

James Morton contacted deputy Dicharry at the Glenn County Sheriff`s office to report he had received an email stating he had won a jackpot of approximately 7.5 Million dollars.  Morton requested the incident be documented. Deputy Dicharry obtained a copy of the email.

Rp called the Glenn County sheriff`s office and reported  she  and her juvenile son had an argument and he  got upset and punched some holes in the wall.  Rp reported her son then packed some clothes and left the house.  Rp requested her son be contacted, counseled and returned home.  Deputy Dicharry and sgt. Goodwin contacted the juvenile and returned him home.  No futher action at this time.

Deputy Dicharry and detective Goodwin attempted to contact Steven Gary Pete at Grindstone Reservation.  Deputies had knowledge Pete was a parole at large.  Pete was located at the residence and taken into custody.  Heather Burrows was also contacted and arrested for williful neglect of a child and harboring a fugitive.  Both subjects were transported and booked into the County jail.


911 Hang up / possible misdial. Deputy Bailey made contact with Felicaitas Manjarrez who said  she can- not see well and misdialed the phone. No further action this department

Matt Garcia reported seeing two juveniles in the area of County road 48 and the canal. Rp stated the juveniles were carrying floating devices and he was concerned the juveniles were going to swim in the canal. Deputy responded and contacted two juveniles walking on County road 48 east of the canal. Juveniles were counseled on safety and tresspassing, however, the juveniles were not tresspassing at the time of the call. Juveniles names not obtained due to pending items and lack of crime.

911 Call / hysterical female is stating her daughter is throwing things in the home and has been hitting her. Deputy Bailey made contact with the rp and her 17 year old daughter. Simple family argument settled with counseling.
