Platinum Club meets Thursday
The Platinum Club for Glenn County Seniors will meet from 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Thursday inside the large conference room at Glenn Medical Center, 1133 W. Sycamore St., Willows.
Dr. Irmeen Ashraf, pediatrician, will speak about childhood obesity and dietary restrictions.
Breakfast will be served.

Crab feed, auction approaching
The annual Willows Elks Lodge Crab Feed, Raffle and Auction will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Jan. 20, 2013, 150 S. Shasta St., Willows.
Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.
Tickets are available from Elks members and at the Elks Lodge.
Proceeds benefit high school seniors in Glenn and Colusa Counties.

Glenn Chorale practices begin
The Glenn Chorale will begin rehearsals for the spring concert season beginning at 7 p.m., Jan. 21, at the Orland High School band room, 101 Shasta St., Orland.
A $10 music usage fee will apply.
The chorale will rehearse every Monday evening until the performances May 4-5.

Sacred Heart playing cards
The Sacred Hearts Sodality will hold a card party and luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 21 in the multipurpose room of Maxwell Elementary School.
Card games include Bridge, Whist and Pinochle. High scores in each game earn prizes. Door and raffle prizes also will be handed out. The cost is $15.
