David Lee Geary

No services will be held for David Lee Geary, who passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, in Chico after a long illness with his wife of 46 years at his side.

David was born May 12, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. His parents were Lenore and Francis Geary. The family moved to southern California when he was very young.

David was the loving husband of Arleen Geary. He was the father of six children; David Geary Jr., Dee Dee Lodsien, Debbie Geary, Dan Geary, Darrin Geary and Douglas Geary and grandfather of ten: Bryan and Heather Lobsien, Jeffrey Geary, Sherry, Stephanie and Tiffany Geary, Anthony, Aaron, Ashley and Allen Geary. He had one great-grandchild, Ivan Jr.

David is also survived by two brothers and two sisters.

While living in southern California he worked for many years in crowd management. After moving his wife and children to Orland in 1970 he worked as an accountant-advisor for a large company while simultaneous owning and running a fast food restaurant “The House of Chicken” with his wife.

His interests were listening to music from the 50’s, working on the computer and above all else reading the bible.

We love and will miss him forever.
