WHS fundraiser
A pizza/bake sale fundraiser is from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Round Table Pizza, 1237 W. Wood St., Willows. 20 percent of food orders go toward Willows High School’s Sober Grad 2009. For more information, call 934-5865.
Platinum Club
The Platinum Club for Glenn County Seniors will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the Glenn Medical Center large conference room.
Hospital Administrator Woody Laughnan will speak on the past, present and future of Glenn Medical Center. A free breakfast buffet will be served. The hospital sponsored program is free for all Glenn County residents 60 years of age and older. For more information, call 934-1881.
Church bazaar
The Willows United Methodist Church will host its annual bazaar and luncheon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at 544 North Shasta St. A hot turkey luncheon will be served 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The bazaar will feature baked goods, handmade items and gifts. For more information call 934-7420.
Craft show
A craft and hobby show will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 543 W. First Ave., Willows. Free admission, popcorn and drinks. Hobbies of interest include woodworking, stamp collecting and scrapbooking. For more information, call 934-3212.
Tri-tip dinner
A drive-through tritip dinner to benefit the Willows High wrestling team will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the Sani-Food Market parking lot, 517 S. Tehama St., Willows. Tickets are $10. For more information, call 934-7690.
Food drive
Boy Scout Troop 57 plans a door-to-door canned food drive from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in Willows. All non-perishable food items accepted. For more information, call 934-2359.
Grocery bags
Free Thanksgiving grocery bags will be distributed to each adult who visits the Willows Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Sunday. Drawings will be held for free turkeys and hams. (Limit one per family, while supplies last). Adult family member must be in attendance.Nursery services

Blood drive
BloodSource is sponsoring a community blood drive from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, at Wal-Mart, 470 N. Airport Rd., Willows, in its blood mobile. Participants will receive a box of See’s Candies.
Craft fair
The 33rd annual Orland Craft Fair is Nov. 29-30 at the Glenn County Fairgrounds, Orland. Hundreds of sellers in three buildings offering
handcrafted gift and specialty food items. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 29; 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 30. Free admission. Sponsored by the Orland Historical and Cultural Society. For more information, call 893-9218.

Hoop Shoot
The Willows Elks Lodge #1786 and Saint Monica’s Council #2054 of the Knights of Columbus will sponsor their Hoop Shoot competitions Dec. 13, at the Willows Intermediate School gym. Avenue of Lights
The Avenue of Lights Holiday Drive-Through will run 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., Dec. 12-16, at the Glenn County Fairgrounds in Orland. More lights and displays than ever before. Tickets $5 per car.
Holiday Light Parade
The Willows Chamber of Commerce Holiday Light Parade will be held at 6 p.m. on Dec. 6. Line up at Sycamore and Enright St. Santa will light the community Christmas tree in the Bank of America parking lot after the parade and listen to children’s gift wishes. Curves Food Drive
Curves of Orland is collecting food through November for the Orland Food Pantry’s Christmas baskets. Curves is open 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.,
and 3:30p.m. to 7p.m. weekdays at 720 Fifth St. Canned goods, boxed foods and cereals, and other non-perishable food items such as beans and pasta are needed. For more information, call 865-7322.
Elks crab feed

Christmas Craft Fair
The Christmas Craft Fair, sponsored by the Willows Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 6, at St. Monica’s
Parish Hall. The Christmas Light Parade, tree lighting ceremony and visit by Santa Claus will take place at 6 p.m., in downtown Willows. The Glenn Chorale Holiday Concert will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the Willows High School cafetorium.
Adopt-A-Family
Families, service clubs, nonprofit groups and local businesses are needed as sponsors for the 18th annual Adopt-A-Family program. The
program assists needy Glenn County children and seniors during the holiday season. The Adopt-A-Family event is set for Dec. 12. Sponsored by the Glenn County Human Resource Agency. For more information, call 934-1591.

The Orland Pantry is seeking non-perishable food donations. Collection barrels are in Orland at Bank of America, Umpqua Bank and Tri-Counties Bank. Orland Pantry serves residents of Orland, Capay and Hamilton City.
