Favorite holiday tradition: Celebrating New Year's.

What Christmas tradition would you like to start? To celebrate Posadas, as we do in Mexico. It starts nine days before Christmas. It's not practiced here in the States. We would go to neighbors house to say a rosary and the neighbors would give us candies or fruit.

What is your pre-holiday routines? I send cards out and make phone calls to my family.

What is your favorite holiday dish? Pozole.

What is the strangest dish that appears on your holiday table? Menudo.

Is there a dish that you always avoid? We don't have alcohol.

What is your favorite memory of Christmas? When I was little, we broke piñatas. The one I broke was filled with flour, and when I broke it, I was covered in flour and white.

Have you been a good girl this year or will you be receiving a lump of coal? I'm good. I think so. But you can ask my husband, kids, and friend.

Christmas trees: White lights or colored lights? All colors.

What is your favorite Christmas carol? "Jingle Bells"

What are you most thankful for? My health and my husband's health, and all of my family.
