Craft Faire this weekend
The Colusa Holiday Craft Faire & Gift Show will be held from 10 a.m. — 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Colusa County Fairgrounds.
Parking and admission are free.
The event, which has been held for more than 25 years, will showcase more than 130 vendors, and will include an entertainment area where local bands, dance troupes, and choirs are set to perform.
Cajun dinner on Saturday
The Family Water Alliance, Inc. will hold its Hot Cajun Night Dinner, Auction & Raffle beginning with a no-host cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Hall, 250 Oak St., Maxwell.
Prizes include a Beretta semi-automatic shotgun, "King of the Grill" barbecue and accessories; and a grand prize getaway to the Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa.
Dinner tickets are $25. For tickets or sponsorships, call 438-2026.
Lions Club art show soon
The Lions Club will host its annual art show and raffle from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 16, 6244 County Road 53, Willows.
Raffle tickets are $1 each, six for $5, 15 for $10, or $35 for $20.
Door prizes and a free buffet will also be available.
Tree permits available
Christmas tree permits are now available from the Mendocino National Forest for the 2012 holiday season.
Permits are $10 per tree and are available through the Forest Service offices through Dec. 22 or area vendors.
