FELONY

Javier Chavez, 26, of Orland, was arrested at 5:18 p.m. Dec. 5 by Glenn County sheriff's deputies at the Glenn County Jail on suspicion of the transport or sale of a controlled substance; and a special allegation. He was booked into the Glenn County Jail. Bail was set at $50,000.

Carlos Antonio Corona, 21, of Orland, was arrested at 11:20 p.m. Dec. 5 by Orland police on Walker and Second streets, on suspicion of the manufacture, import, sale, supply or possession of metal knuckles. He was booked into the Glenn County Jail. Bail was set at $30,000.

Hilario Cesar Garcia, 47, of Artois, was arrested at 5:16 a.m. Dec. 6 by Glenn County sheriff's deputies on the 1600 block of County Road E, on suspicion of oral copulation; and sexual penetration with a foreign object on a victim under 14. He was booked into the Glenn County Jail. Bail was set at $200,00.

Dashan Ali Cowan, 19, of Sacramento, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. Dec. 6 by the California Highway Patrol on Interstate 5 at the Maxwell Rest Area, on suspicion of evading a peace officer with wanton disregard for safety, taking a vehicle without the owner's consent and receiving known stolen property. He was booked into the Glenn County Jail. Bail was set at $61,000.
