Alarm sounding at Helena Chemical Company in
Butte City. Per the alarm
company, sounding from north shop interior. Sgt. Bouldin responded to check the business. Branch manager John Crowe was contacted
by the alarm company and also responded.
The building was checked and found to be secure.
Santos Garzam, 53, contacted the sheriff`s
office and reported subjects riding quadrunners in Stony Creek near state route
45 at county road 24. Garza
requested a deputy contact the subjects and admonish them for trespassing. Deputy Knouse responded and was unable
to locate any subjects in the creek bed.
A 41-year-old female called the sheriff`s
office and requested a welfare check on her 8-year-old daughter. The rp's ex-husband had court ordered
visitation with his daughter for a month.
The rp was concerned for the safety of her daughter and requested a
deputy contact her. Deputy Knouse detailed and contacted the father and his
daughter. The juvenile was fine
and no problems were noted. Deputy Knouse contacted the rp and informed her
everything was fine.
Officers T. Johnson, Morales and D. Johnson
conducted cell searches in the Glenn County Jail the officers found contraband
that included the following: tobacco, contraband replica of a nunchuk, extra
clothing, etc. Investigation to continue.
