Alarm company reports alarm sounding from living room motion detector. Premises found secure. Alarm reset.

Mike Vereschagin called the Glenn County sheriff`s office and reported an unknown subject had dumped garbage on his property and also vandalized seven almond trees causing approximately $2100 in damage. Deputy Dicharry responded and took the report. Deputy located indicia at scene. Investigation continuing.

Rosalva Alvarez, 40, requested a deputy for a civil stand by at county road E at county road 53. Deputy Burns responded to the location. Alvarez stated she wanted a deputy to stand by while she turned over a vehicle to a subject named Carrillo Alonso. Alvarez stated she bought the vehicle from Alonso and the payment plan was not working out. Alvarez understood the matter was a civil matter. Alverez turned the vehicle over to Alonso without incident. No further action.

Several large items have been dumped on the reporting party’s property. Requesting a deputy call him. Depty Bailey made contact with Joseph Hardy. He said he owns the property on the corner of County road 21 and County road N. He said someone dumped some items on the property. Deputy Bailey drove to the corner and found someone had dumped a dryer, cabinet, and vacuum cleaner. There were no indentifing papers. It is on County property. Deputy Bailey will notify public works.

Dispatch received a 911 hangup from a residence. The phone line was busy on call back. Sgt. Miranda and dep. Bauer responded and contacted Juana Robledo de Falcon, 35. Everything was okay at the residence. Nobody knew who might have placed the call because only the mother was in the house. No further action.

Anonymous caller requests a welfare check on children at a neighbor’s residence due to loud yelling and what sounded like someone hitting the walls. Deputy contacted Jennifer Ashworth who was having a difficult time getting her three small kids to go to bed. The children did not appear abused.

Deputy Brazzi made a traffic stop on a vehicle for vehicle code violations. The driver, Kathy Barajas, 22, was found to be a missing person out of Santa Rosa. Barajas stated she left home a few weeks ago and knew her mother reported her missing. Barajas spoke to her mother on 06/22/08. Barajas stated she was staying at a friend’s house in Corning and she was fine. Welfare check completed and locate placed in mups.
