210 N TEHAMA ST - Jenny O’Donnel (41), of Tri Counties Bank, requsted to speak with an officer regarding disturbing statements made by an employee that had been terminated. Officer Vessels responded and spoke with O’Donnel regarding the matter.
1230 BRENNAN PL - At approximately 1723 Hours, Officer Vessels was advised that Caroyl Smith had been in pursuit of a subject in county jurisdiction on his stolen motorcycle. Smith reported subjects in a blue car were also involved. He was unable to catch the subjects. At approximately 1830 Hours, Smith called to report he was following the suspect car through the city of Willows. Willows Officers and CHP located the vehicle as it parked in front of 1230 Brennan. The subjects were detained, interviewed and released. The case is under investigation.
1481 CO HWY 99W - Officer Vessels took a theft report by telephone from Jina Tanner (38) of Roseburg, Oregon. Tanner reported that on this date, someone stole her wallet from her car or the restroom, while at the Willows Travel Plaza.
455 N HUMBOLDT AVE - Officers DeVoss, Vessels, Sgt. Walter, and Chief Spears responded to Burger King on a report of individuals who were being offensive and refusing to leave. Officers contacted Jesse Rowland (18 yoa) and Felipe Flores (48 yoa) and their family traveling from Washington. They had a disputed over not getting the correct order, however they did not have their receipt so could not prove their claim. They agreed to get in their vehicle and continue on their way.
220 S SHASTA ST - Officer K. Meek responded to 220 S. Shasta St. to a report of vehicle vandalism. Courtney Flannery (18) reported someone had keyed her 2008 Scion sometime during the night.
Case is under investigation.
1145 CEDAR ST - Officer K. Meek responded to Willows Intermediate School for a report of an assault. A 14 year old male juvenile was booked at Jane Hahn Juvenile Hall for striking another student the previous day.
203 N MURDOCK AVE - Officer K. Meek responded to Willows High School for a report of a student locating a stolen camera. Case is under investigation.
35 DONNIE LN - Officers K. Meek and Brown responded to 35 Donnie Lane to assist CPS with a welfare check. Officers stood by during the assessment.
201 N LASSEN ST - Robert Faust (63 YOA) came into the Willows Police Department and reported his .22 caliber handgun missing. Faust later advised Officer Brown he had located the firearm.
246 N HUMBOLDT AVE - Officer Brown responded to McDonald’s and picked up a found purse. The purse was later returned to the owner.
